“After a lifetime of toil I jacked it all in, sold up and drove across Europe in a van with a couple of friends and my dog to start a new in Ios in 2004. Retirement, love that word. There’s much more to Ios Greece than just bars and clubs. This place has a magic about that you get or you don’t. Good weather, good food, good friends and it’s cheap. Now in the twilight of my years the world comes to me each year bringing more good people than you can wave a stick at. Magoo..it’s another word for happy.
