Psathi Beach

The Beach:
Psathi beach lies in the unspoilt valley of Psathi. This beach has fine golden sand flat rocks and stunning deep blue sea. It is a great beach and an ideal place for a bit of relaxation and tranquility in a beautiful, wild and almost deserted environment.

When the wind picks up and waves rise very high up it can get busy with windsurfers. There are two beaches just walk along the main beach from the right and you will come to the second. At Psathi you can also see the church of Ayios Ioannis.

 

Facilities:

Psathi beach has some nice taverns and rooms and makes a great break away from the village of Chora for a night. There are no sunbeds or umbrellas available at the beach.

Accommodation:

There are a small number of rooms available to rent at Psathi beach.

How to get to Psathi Beach:
Psathi beach is on the way to Agia Theodoti and accessible by car.

Quiet and isolated beach

Much less developed than the main beaches of Ios
